363 persistent browser games, each visited and written up in plain words, with genre, pricing and the date we last checked it. Free, no votes, no ads.
browsergames.top is a directory of persistent browser-based games: the text MMOs, space empires, crime cities, nation sims, football leagues and idle worlds that keep running after you close the tab. Every one of the 363 listings was visited by a person and written up in plain words, with its genre, play style, pricing and the date we last checked it. Closed games are marked as closed. There are no votes to game and no paid rankings: listings are free, and crypto, cash-prize and shady games are left out. Filter by genre or tag, read the guides on the blog, or submit a game you run.

Marking closed games as closed and showing the date each listing was last checked is the thing most game directories skip, and it is what makes this one trustworthy. Since persistent games change a lot, a small "recently changed" or "recently closed" view would help people who come back often. Also curious how you handle a game that stays online but quietly shifts to heavy pay-to-win, because that is the case your no-shady-games rule has to judge.
